Tune-ups for AC, Heat Pumps, Furnaces,
Humidifiers and Air Exchangers
Furnaces:
Visual inspection of heat exchanger to look for any cracks, combustion
analysis to ensure that the furnace is burning properly, and check the
temperature difference across the heat exchanger to be sure it falls
within the units specs.
Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps:
After verifying that the unit has the correct airflow we then can check
the units Superheat or Subcooling to verify that the unit is operating
with the correct amount of refrigerant.
Humidifiers:
Replacing the humidifier water pad is first step in checking out this
piece of equipment, after that we check the operation and the drain lines
to make sure they are free and clear.
Air to Air Exchangers:
Checking the Intake and Exhaust on the outside of the house to make sure
the unit has the maximum amount of air to the unit. We also check the
airflow in and out of the exchanger to make sure it is still properly
balanced.
